Work is picking up again... hopefully the roller coaster hours have permanently peaked. School is getting better too, but the workload is increasing with grade improvement. We'll see how ( Read more... )

MTG works too, so does Magic :P

Bah, if you take up WoW (at last), I might be forced to reactivate my account. Dwarves and Minotaurs, wooh. If only they could work together.

Hmmm, but a level 50 cap in PSU? That makes little sense. Even though the game has changed a bit, it'll be nowhere near as involving as the MMORPGs with caps around that level. FFXI had cap at 75... and you'd also need to get a second job to lvl 37/38 for the secondary. I logged MANY hours into that game and didn't break lvl 40.

The cap must apply only to the beta test, or there's some sort of crazy difficulty curve as in Diablo II (cap is 100 or 99, but it's really hard to get past 80... and I've never actually seen cap). Then again, there's the chance that it's just a flaw observed through beta testing that may (or may not) get fixed before release. AND, there are always patch updates.

For example. Sorry I couldn't hyperlink, no rich-text allowed in comments, but if you copy/paste it into the browser it'll show you one of the several threads I've seen discussing the cap at level 50.

Alas, they can't work together, but if I do start WoW it'll be with a chunky Tauren Warrior, probably on Cenarion Circle because I know Joel and one or two other guys at OU on that server.

Beta testing for the JP version ended awhile ago, before the official Japanese PSU was released. There's no English PSU beta testing that's open to the public or even invitational, to anyone's knowledge on Blue Burst.

There are patches and an expansion pack due out already, so I'll definitely give it time and max out at least one character before I move, if it isn't in-depth enough to satisfy my role-playing cravings. Besides, I can't really back out now, as I preordered it a few weeks ago. =P
