But over time and over the series, I think if we have the fortune of having a number of seasons, we would definitely explore romantic possibilities between the two, but that would be way down the road.

You can't imagine how happy I am to hear that. I know a couple of tv and book series in which two characters had great chemistry at the start and they were literally thrown at each other without getting a real relationship development. Auggie and Annie hit it off from the start. True. But that doesn't mean they have to get together in the first season. I really hope that this series gets a real chance and doesn't get cancelled after the first season. I want to see more of Annie, Auggie and co.
