I'm not sure what to be most excited about - the Annie/Eyal dynamic (because they're a lot of fun together), the chance of Auggie and Eyal meeting, or the fact that apparently Annie's gonna start getting hit with the consequences of her actions. I feel like she's gotten way too much of a pass on that and it's stunting her growth as a character.
It seems like a job requirement that everybody goes off the books and ignores authority on occasion. One thing I really do like about Eyal's appearances, though, is he always makes the point that she has a lot to learn, while still respecting what she does know and that she IS learning.
It does seem like a job requirement for this group, doesn't it? (Especially after 3.09 - even Joan got in on the off-book action! Maybe it's some kind of DPD test?) And I agree with you; one of the things I love about Eyal is that he lets Annie try it her way, but always seems to have a backup plan in place in case her noob self messes up. It's a good way to teach her. She seems much more receptive to him than to Joan, too, I guess because he's kind of her peer in the spy world hierarchy. So maybe that will be his job for the season? To try and rein Annie in and show her that there are times to go off book and times when it's really better to play by the rules?
Darn tablet mangled my reply. I was thinking Eyal might have info on Lena's operations since Mossad did have the file on Simon. But from the descriptions, things go really wrong when Annie goes after Lena the old fashioned way. I will go out on a limb and guess that breaking her out of a foreign prison is yet another off the books op. LOL!

(hi, n00b here)
It was mentioned in an interview w/Christopher Gorham that 3.13 (the episode he's directing) will involve a surprise visitor to his apartment that "some of the audience might be a little upset about." It's in an Entertainment Weekly article.
So the obvious suspect would be a repentant Parker, right? Especially given the episode title.
...I kind of want it to be Eyal instead, just to confuse people.
