Okay, where to start?
-First, let me just say that this has to be the first Supernatural episode that genuinely creeped me out. The whole concept, the music, the deaths...all of it made me want to cover my eyes and sit on my feet. *nods*

It's just exhausting to even think about that episode for me, now. Because, jeeze, I watched it a second time and now that we know what Dean is thinking the entire episode, it makes everything look different. He thinks he came back unnatural, wrong, and that his life isn't worth John's, and to see him struggle with that in the way that he faces Ashley's father. God, he must be so angry at John in a sort of helpless, "Daddy, please come back" sort of way--he didn't get to choose or have any say in John's decision regarding him. You know that if he had chosen, he would have had John stay alive. And he keeps saying that line over and over "dead things should stay dead", which is just heart breaking, because he's talking about himself.
Oh, Dean. *cries a little*
