People could care less about your problem. Don’t expect anyone to respond. You may not like it but life is teaching you about where your support really comes from. Searching for strength or consolation in anything outside of yourself could be considered a handicap at this point. If this sounds harsh it’s just the way things are. The wise ( Read more... )

Lol, that was my initial reaction, too. But after being screamed at via phone from one entitled customer already this morning, I'm starting to see where the logic comes in. XD The short version I'm interpreting is thus: "Whine less."

Oh, but whining can be a lot of fun AND it will make you feel better because more often than not, it will make you side the funny side of annoying customers. :)

Very true! But one must remember to whine at the right people. ;D for instance, venting at my boss about customers? not the smartest move, prolly.

Bull Shit.

I call Bull Shit.

Fucking Bull Shit.

Yes, you should look for strength in yourself. And trust me, Babes, you've got plenty! HOWEVER, the fact of the matter is that that first sentence is right, but only because that phrase "people could care less" is stupid. I could care less. You know why? Because I care a damn lot and so less is possible. "Couldn't care less" would mean that I care so little that it is simply not possible for me to care any less than I already do. So, yes, I could care less about your problems and what you're going for, because I care a whole lot. And I know others do as well.

Gods, it sounds like Heero or a depressed/dark version (PGSM Dark Kingdom) of Kunzite wrote this horoscope.

XD

Well, babe, I really took it as more a "people at large," not a small, but close, circle of friends. Plus Cancers in general, myself included, tend to rely way too much on what the unknown masses think of them. For instance, my being super effing upset if I so much as think the random dude sitting too close to me at lunch overheard my conversation and disapproves of it. Random example, not something that actually happened, just to clarify.

So yeah, I didn't take it as being applied to you. XD

It read to me as universal "don't expect /anyone/" rather than "don't expect just anyone."

Sorry. :)

LMAO, no reason to be sorry ^_^ Just letting you know that I'm not taking it seriously in a "OMG EMO" fashion. ;D
