The Year of the Dragon
It’s 2012. I promised myself I’d start blogging again … so six days in, I present to you my favorite pic of the year (thus far). This was actually taken on New Year’s Day.
I love it because it looks like a paparazzi photo; I’m just multitasking as I walk along Brooklyn street, adorable child at my side, when SNAP! A paparazzo, aka Adele Griffin, jumps out. Adele’s daughter is playing the part of the dragon. For the record, she had no idea it was actually the year of the dragon when she put on the costume. It was more like, “What should I wear: jeans, dragon garb? I’ll go with the latter.”
