I am so unbelievably frustrated in my job right now, I think it's time to get a new one. I know, not really the best time or economy to be looking for a job, but if I stay here much longer, I'm gonna go postal ( Read more... )

I'm looking there too. My radius is approximately 30 miles from Hayward, with the exception of places that are difficult to get to, like Half Moon Bay.

Do you have recruiting experience? There's a ton of those type of HR jobs out there.

Too bad you don't want to commute to Concord...I know of an opening. :)

Ive noticed a bunch in Monster/CL for just that. THe lady in the cube behind me buys me lunch if I job search for her.... yes I am extrememly cheap with lots of time on my hands.

Dang, how do you do that? I've been surfing CL for days and didn't find those ones!

Is Monster really worth it? Last year, when I was looking, it was full of temp agencies and contract positions.

Eh, its still chock full of those, BUT once and awhile you get a nugget. They got me again with the carrot yesterday when it was leaked that they are back in negotiations with my agency for my "hand" perm like... I'm sucha sucker for that fuckin' carrot. After 10 months I should know better.
