» Please use the provided table to post your icons for convenience.
» Put on title of your post: Round 16 - "YOUR CLAIM"
» Do not add your own tags, I’ll do it for you.
» Claim/Sign Up list Here - SIGN-UPS WILL REMAIN OPEN THE ENTIRE ROUND.
» All 20 icons are due on June 10th.

Please note that both characters of your couple DO NOT have to be in every icon together, but try to include both people in at least 13/20 of your icons. Otherwise it wouldn't be much fun ;)

ALL THEMES ARE ALWAYS OPEN TO YOUR OWN INTERPRETATION. I'm well aware that not every couple/claim has experienced the same things, so if you can't find any image/scene suited for one of the themes, feel free to think outside the box! For example, if 'Kiss' was the theme, and your couple has never had the pleasure, feel free to icon them close together as if wanting to kiss, or use text like 'I want to kiss you,' or song lyrics with the word kiss in them. It's all up to you! Have fun and be creative :)

And thanks to the members for their lovely themes suggestions, I used more than a couple of 'em :)

THEMES/PROMPTS

1.Summer: for some, summer's almost here. Show your couple in summer weather or in summer-y situations. They can be near the sea, bathing in the sun, doing any summer-like activities you can think of. If your couple doesn't do any of these or they're never shown in summer weather, you can use warm textures, brushes, anything you feel fits the theme.

2.Upside Down Your subject, or part of them, has to be shown upside down.
ex.

coloured_life, darkgoddessgege, sunlitdays, vine_wood

3.Festive: show your couple in a festive moment. Any celebratory situation is fine.
ex.

babyara, bluedreamer80, ciaimpala, sleepless84

4.Complementary colors: You should display two mains colors in the icon and those two colors have to be complementary. Here's the color wheel:

wickdshy, paint_wars, hover for credits, lancelotfan

5.Honesty

6.Gray: the color gray (in every shade you want to) has to be predominant in the icon.
ex.

colorvortex, crucified, jessswann, starry_night

7.Smiles: both your character should smile in the icon.

8.Wild

9.Goodbye

10.If I Can't Have You: I snagged this idea from once20in20 (with a different title lol) Basically, if your couple couldn't be together, who would you want them to end up with? For example, if you've chosen Emma and Hook from Once Upon a Time, you can icon either Emma or Hook with someone else.
If you chose a platonic couple (like brothers or best friends) you can simply icon them with someone you think would be like a brother (or a best friend) to them.

Category Set: Your Style the category set should represent your style when it comes to icon-making. If you usually make complex icons, make 5 icons that way or if your're famous for simple crops and coloring, go for that. Just follow your instincts.

Artist's Choice: 5 Icons of your choice!
