Summary: After the Doctor and Rose are reunited, he takes her to see a friend.
Rating: PG, I guess.
A/N: AU D/R reunion, with an AU ending to The Last of the Time Lords. It'll make more sense once you read it.

( He finally turns to her, eyes haunted. “What else could I do?” )

This is sooooo good. This thought had never even crossed my mind but now that you've show me...its just brilliant. Such angsty goodness. :) Oh man. Great job...I need some fluff now...:)

Thanks! This idea sprung itself on me a while back, and it seemed like a good scenario, and different than just the Master dying or the Doctor keeping him forever.

Yay! I'm glad that I apparently made the ending unexpected, and yet easy to understand. I was worried about that.
