Just got back from the bookstore. Got myself I, Robot (thank you, ciaran_gabriel) and Robot Visions by Isaac Asimov, The Time Ships by Stephen Baxter, and Flowers for Algernon. I'm starting with Flowers for Algernon because I've actually been meaning to read it for a while

I enjoyed "Flowers for Algernon," although it is not the most upbeat of books. The sexual scenes depicted in it are not graphic, from what I remember, but there are a couple there.

I read one of Asimov's books years ago, and recall thinking it was sexist. It was not "I, Robot," however. I have a feeling that Ciaran Gabriel recommended a good one for you.

Always hold close all of those wonderful qualities about you that helped you make the friends that you now have. If you do that, I believe that no amount of brainwashing tactics will alter who you truly are.
