Alright. This is my journal. Before this journal existed, I was SirProngs. But then the wrong guy won the Men's Competition at the Olympics in Figure Skating, and well, you know how it goes. Or you may not know... Hmm. In my land, which is inhabited only by me and a number of very charismatic stuffed animals, there are sometimes points of no return

Hm, well, I will take care not to speak too much about figure skating, lest I open a wound you have just begun to heal over, and politics can get messy. Nevertheless, I do love your comparison, and have to agree. Except I hope I never have to see Vladmir Putin run a finger down his lips all sexy-like. That would just be frightening. (Actually, on second thought...)

And I love a good classical piece, I must admit.

Yeah, figure skating. *sigh* As I said, why did I have to become a fan in the first place? I should have stuck with chess and watching (European) football.

So you watch it too? Which skaters do you like? Just don't say Evan Lysacek. I am all for the truth, but that would be too much for me.

I simply adore classical music. I always say that I only know about music that was written before 1943 (Rachmaninov's death). Which is not really the truth, because I also like Rock. But I don't know that much about modern music, so it's easier to tell people that I know nothing at all about it.

I'm going to be honest, I'm not a very dedicated fan at all because I know I could be and I'm running out of time to adore things. XD I watch television one hour a week unless the Olympics or the World Cup are on; thus, I really only get into sports during major events, because I don't have much time otherwise. When the Olympics are on, though, I become obsessed and start looking up whatever I can on the athletes I'm watching as well as shriek madly whenever something awesome or terrible happens. I have brief, 1-month love affairs with ice skating every now and then. :) But if I catch it on TV, I'll watch it. I do love watching them

See, I should be that kind of fan too. Hmpf. I am no big fan of women's skating to being with, it's all a bit too bland and too one-sided to me. Always preferred the men, I think they are more creative, maybe because men's skating attracts different characters than women's skating - and therefore they are much more individual people. I am a huge fan of Lambiel (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5qiwiuVvVQ). There are lots of others whom I like and a few selected whom I really don't like.
