Emotional ups and downs

Looking for any suggestions on reading or support groups for Dementia/Alzheimers!
As you may know we are dealing with this disease now with Dave's mom. It is very trying and tiring to say the least... but as always there are good days and bad days, ups and downs. Honestly, it just makes us blue... (am trying to keep a positive outlook as much as ( Read more... )

Vacation - all I ever wanted!

Just got our travel plans in place for the Shag event in August and the Haunted Mansion event in September. Not to mention Beloit's Reunion weekend in October. Some fun stuff in store for the Fall. But for now, will have to remain nearby and keep helping out Dave's mom. Her health is maintaining and we are doing what we can during this period ( Read more... )

So Mish and Paul are here. Just heard from the Stout twins, they are headed our way. Ralph is making chili at home. And I am getting ready to make some cupcakes! Should be fun and yummy tomorrow :)
