Thank you for the update! All I can say is "wow!!" Magic does happen once in a while. I'm glad you had your magic moments. By the way, to put on a scale of 10, what would be the ratings between CL and AA even though one is the predecessor of the other?
I don't know if I was underwhelmed by having had those places romanticized so much as I was underwhelmed at those places having been utterly and completely tourist-ified. You can't walk ten steps in Liverpool proper without running into a Beatles photo or lyric or random artwork. Nothing there is how the Beatles saw it back in the day.
Although one thing near Penny Lane that I thought was kind of awesome was that there really IS a shelter in the middle of a roundabout.
