So I work at a Jewish education nonprofit. From time to time we get letters from prisoners asking for free materials or if we can help in their conversion process, etc. (We can't of course.) I have noticed many times a certain hint of crazy - immaculate handwriting all evenly spaced and in height, or random capitals, things like that. These are not mistakes due to lack of education, the language and grammar are always just fine. It's the small details that make wonder.....
