Getting back to my Spring theme, today's song is Something To Do With Spring by Noel Coward. Noel was kind of the anti-Formby but in this day and age I have no problem being a fan of both. I enjoy the working class double entendres and ethnic humor of Formby as much as the high brow wit of the other guy. In fact, for our next rock 'n' roll anthemRead more... )

Those are the best bee gees albums ever. Though I still like the post jump bee gees too for some reason. But the early stuff is amazing.

I'll vote 5 times with you!

It will depend on how many singers are left on "Bee Gees" night. And They may also include "Songs Barry Gibb Wrote but Didn't Perform."

You would likely lose this bet. I mean, Michael F. Bolton did a song from one of the Bee Gees' first four albums, fer gosh sakes.

My predictions (includes Gibb-penneds songs not sung by the Bee Gees):

Sanjaya: Stayin' Alive
Haley: Immortality (written for Celine Dion)
LaKisha: Love So Right
Melinda: If I Can't Have You (Yvonne Elliman)
Gina: Night Fever
Fat Chris: How Can You Mend A Broken Heart
Stupid Chris: Nights On Broadway
Phil: To Love Somebody
Jordin: Woman In Love (Barbra Streisand)
Blake: Tragedy

Someone HAS to do "Islands In the Stream" for cryin' out loud! Then Randy can say, "Yo, Phil, check this out man. Look mand, I don't know if that was a good song choice for you, dawg." and Paula can say, "You look beautiful tonight. Very lady like," and Simon can say, "What that reminded me of was a family reunion and your aunt used to be in the Vagabonds in high school, but she hasn't sung for over 20 years and someone says, "Didn't you used to sing?" and she's had a little too much to drink and she gets up and she belts out this dreadful [insert crowd booing]....I'm not finished! [insert more boos]...let me finish, please! She belts out a horrible song, but everyone is too polite to tell her how awful it was [more booing]....SORRY FOR HAVING AN OPINION.' And then Seacrest comes out and tells them not to listen to Simon, Simon insinuates that Seacrest is homosexual, and the music for commercial break comes on.

Not that I WATCH American Idol.

Ha ha ha. OK, I'll up my ante. If Simon accuses anyone of being in the Vagabonds I will vote for that person 8 trillion times.

It's not a bet. And judging by recent theme nights I'd be surprised if they do any Bee Gees songs at all.

The one to the Noel Crawford song. Also, I heard reports about non-Attenborough narration at work. My condolences.
