I haven't had much time to work on the solo album over the past week, what with the elections, the Green Festival, goldenmoonbear's birthday celebrations and the ensuing 20 George Formby movies on DVD that we're working our way through. I managed to record only 2 more songs, bringing me to 7, 21:30 total time.

I find that hard to believe. You're going to be in another song too. I'm working on one right now called "44 Lines About 88 Livejournal Friends" that mentions almost my entire friendslist, just to see how many comments I can get.

I was worried that you wouldn't like the cat song because it was so anti-melodic. It's sung from the cat's point of view though, and that's the kind of music they like. Trust me, I've done several studies.
