I don't think she's really likely to let me go to anything soon. I'd like to say I'm okay but I don't know if I am. I was really looking forward to it.

Hey, I know you don't know me (I was bored and checking out the site) but really I think if you really want to go just go. It's better to beg forgiveness than ask permission. Although I guess in your case it's a little late for that part, but as long as your mother won't disown you or kick you out. Just go for it.

If you need it, I'll help you out because I know what it's like to not be able to do what you like.
