I've always assumed in those Hollywood couplings that the man had been hot when they got together in high school but he had 'let himself go'.
I've always thought you to be attractive inside and out but ultimately you can't change how others view you so I will always persist in thinking this of you just the same as you will persist in thinking you are physically unattractive.

Well written my friend and welcome back! I find it sad that the world seems so superficial when it comes to the physical. Society is fucked in so many ways. I'm glad at times that I took myself out of the relationship race, but I still have the occasional pang at the thought of being forever alone.
