I will try and look for your companions, but I haven't seen them.

Hardships?
Everyone faces hardships.
It is how they are conquered that show the merit of the bearer.

Thank you, Miss...?

I agree with you, I don't think there's been a life lived where someone hasn't had some troubles. ...but I supposed rather what I'm asking is if the person in question believes they've had a hard life.

I see your point. Forgive me.

From personal experience, those who have it the worse, are usually the last to speak out about it. Their existence had given them, perhaps, a tougher skin than most. You learn to over come your fears of the hardships, and simply accept them as part of you lot in life.
Fear is the MindKiller...

But perhaps, it is the lives we do not lead that are the hardest to deal with.

[He's sulking. This is a touchy subject after all, though he might not be huffy for the reasons one might think.]

[Things've been a little tense lately, so Guy has a feeling this new tizzy fit isn't entirely about his question.

Knock knock.]

I don't think it's self-pitying to admit you've had a hard life as long as you don't dwell on it too much. There's more to life than past experience.

I figured you'd say that.

How are you doing? I heard you were sick.

Uh-oh, I'm not getting predictable, am I?

Yeah, I'm better now. You're lucky you didn't talk to me, I was a mess.

Maybe a bit.

I saw that entry, but I thought it better to let you rest. I'm sorry if that seemed a little cold.

Interesting in an original or unique way, or interesting in a bad way, Miss Lockhart?

Life in my homeworld is not easy, but I don't think I've lived a difficult life thus far.

That's good to hear.

Enduring hardships can be difficult, but it makes overcoming them all the more rewarding.

There's that. Even if the rewards aren't exactly welcome at first.
