I only very recently read all of Count Cain & Godchild, so I am fairly new to the fandom. :D My favorite character is the Earl of Poison himself, but Jezebel probably gets second place.

As my first offering to the comm, here is something I noticed about a certain ring in Count Cain/Godchild, and wanted to share.

Lovely analysis, I must say. It would make for an engrossing literary thesis; the motif of rings.

As for your thoughts on it, I believe you're right on the mark. Kaori may be an artist, but she's also an expert story-weaver, and all talented authors usually know how to make eccentric and deep works seamlessly connect, even on technical levels.

Considering all the plot twists in Godchild, I was surprised to find something that was both consistent and meaningful, with seeds planted so early in the story. My respect for Kaori Yuki's skills as an author deepened.
