I picked up "The Sound of a Boy Hatching" the other day and was reading in the chapter before "Who killed Cock Robin", and noted that Riff picked up a tarot card that Mary had dropped. ._. Somehow I've always had an impression that it was "The Tower" card. Suits the following story perfectly, being the *most* negative and destructive one in the whole Tarot - and, besides that, think of the ending of the series...

Oh man! Someone finally noticed that besides me. XP I tried to bring up for discussion on one of my Kaori Yuki communities, atziluth (or something like _atziluth_ don't really remember as it died pretty quickly ^^;) which I made purely for in-depth conversations, but was unable to get much conversation out of it.

Likewise, I've come to believe it was the Tower card. And you will find out later if you haven't read all of God Child yet as to why.

And no, Kaori Yuki doesn't have any notes about it anywhere. So its all up for speculation. It blew me away when I noticed it after having read all of God Child, making me think "did she plan this all along?!" since there's a rather big gap in time between when she wrote the earlier Cain books and the God Child ones.

XD Duude. Yeah, that happens a lot in tinier fandoms. D: it's a shame.

The Tower card? What does that one signify? I can't remember. D: xDD I just remembered what spoilers I've read and things like this and it made me go "hmm."

Can't really say it here as I refuse to say the ending spoilers in places where people could see them. XP Because that's just cruel. Unless you're asking what the meaning of the Tower card is in the Tarot deck, which you can probably look up on wikipedia or something. lol

I assumed it was the Tower. I picked the card up out of my friend's deck one day and I was like, "OMG THIS IS THE CARD THAT HE PICKS UP!". My friend gave me a funny look XD
