1. people attempting to apply logic to Glee a show that has a main character conceived in 1990-91 and not born until 1994.

OR

2. people atempting to apply logic to Smallville a show about an alien from space that came to save us with his fucking HOTNESS

But, I'm probably going to go with option number 1.
