I don't think I've been yelled at and publicly humiliated like that before, at least as a working adult. The overt insinuations directed at me, sent to my boss and other colleagues. don't feel bad about yourself. this country is run by people who have had been all their lives so have no sense of what the real world is like. we can always choose to uproot and leave...

actually, it happens all over the place, not just in Spore. It really all boils down to whom you have to work with and in what capacity. It's all about personalities. Try dealing with the French, Indians or Middle Easterners as your clients. Even as colleagues, they can get pretty nasty.

In Singapore, it is not uncommon to hear of partners shouting at their associates. EVen partners and associates yell at each other.

But I agree, she could have handled it differently. Either it's her personality that sucks or she's just trying to make a point.

Hard to get over, I know. But you've just got to try not to let these get to you and take it all in your stride. I'm sure you're not alone and people who have dealt with her would have the same opinion of her. She's just some mad bitch who needs to yell to get her point across. Quite pathetic.

Yeah... I know such bad attitudes are prevalent and are not gender, race or nationality-specific. Am pretty much over it by now. I had wrongly assumed a spirit of collegiality and openness. She was trying to make a point, staking her claim and territory.

So are we going to catch up soon? With wookie?
