I was unaware of THAT and now I shall go read it. Considering my mad love for Scherzo I'm kinda disapointed in myself for not knowing about it.

a companion who disappeared halfway through her second serial

Just to nitpick a bit: Dodo was actually in six serials (well, the final few minutes of her first one, four complete serials, and two episodes of her last one).

Thanks for the nitpick; I've updated the entry.

Thanks for the nice review - and I agree with you entirely about Seven's handwave at the end. I was somewhat surprised this one was nominated as it's a piece I dusted off and posted quickly as a gift, and I've always felt it had some weakness, but you can't predict what people will like and I've been very pleased that people have liked it. :)

Speaking just for myself, I really loved No Ordinary War - I have it saved to my hard drive and re-read it all the time, and I'm not even familiar with Hex from canon(?).

Thanks so much, that's so kind of you to say! And I will now exhort you to go listen to some Hex - he's a Big Finish companion, and he is the best EVER. :D Start with The Harvest, it's a great intro.
