Round Two Unreviewed Fics

To our regret, we were unable to review all of the fics in Round Two. It's not that we don't love them - it's just that we ran out of time. Here are the unreviewed fics from Round Two's Doctor Who category.

During the periods between rounds, we'll try to review as many of these as we can.

I feel vaguely bad that whoever nominated "Flowers" didn't put it under crack-fic. Because, while I did endeavor to keep everyone in character and to have it all make sense, I can't take the basic premise seriously even in my own head.

I am seriously so impressed that you guys are making time to review the fics, despite it obviously being an epic job. Well done!

Thank you. It's seriously rewarding, as well. Especially when we get comments like this! :)

It makes me feel a little guilty though that the two of mine that are on the list are fairly long fics!

I will admit it's hard to get the longer fics. I do try to hit at least one longer fic in each of my posts, though - not fair to you guys to run howling to the short ones, and leave the longer gems behind!

I'm really sorry - we haven't been able to get to it. It's not that we don't love it, but more about too many fics and too few of us! (Hence why we're looking for additional help.)

We will try to get to it, but it may not come before the close of voting. I'm really sorry, I know you're probably not the only disappointed author out there. I really do want to someday get every fic done before the voting closes.

Sorry, I wasn't meaning it to sound like I was having a go, or anything. ^_^ I just wasn't sure if the list meant they weren't going to get reviewed. Having said that, I'm not going to pretend I'm not disappointed, as my fic was slagged off by cot_tossed and a confidence boost would have been nice, lol!

I'm entering the competition now anyway. I hope you get the reviewers you need!

No, I didn't take it as you having a go - I took it as it was meant, that you were disappointed. And I really am sorry - I don't like disappointing anyone, that's not the point of cot_reviews.

With luck, we'll get lots of new staff, and someday, we'll be able to review everyone within the month, and we won't have to disappoint anyone again. That's what I hope, anyway.

Just a heads up, my Donna fic 'Doors We Never Opened' isn't on the list - don't know if you missed it or something, but thought I'd better mention it. ^.~

And just thought I'd say even if you don't get around to reviewing it or the rest of the unreviewed fics, I think you've all done a wonderful job, and you have my eternal admiration for even attempting to review all the nominations over at CoT.

So, keep going guys, we're all cheering for you! :)
