LiveJournal.app v.0.6.0

Folks, as you probably already know, LiveJournal.app v.0.6.0 was released few weeks ago. The only problem here - you will not see the update via iTunes because LiveJournal.app now published by LiveJournal itself instead of my iTunes account, so it means you need to remove current application and download the new one.

hmm new app won't let me log in, when I click on username I don't get the keyboard. I deleted and reinstalled the app but still a no go :(. the help button on that page does work btw.

edit after updating the iphone to 4.01 it worked

I have been having this issue for ages. My version is up to date as is my software and I've reinstalled many times, but still nothing.
Frustrating.

Nope. I have the same problem as the poster above - when I press Login, the keyboard doesn't come up so I can't log in.

So glad for the changes! Reading my friends page in the app is what I wanted most. :) I'm unclear on a feature though-- Are we able to set images to load by default on our friends page? Or do we have to tap the placeholder every time if we want to see it? By the app description it seemed like you could set it so images on the friends page always loaded.

Questions about future updates:

*The embed media not loading I totally get though. Will YouTube embeds eventually be viewable in the app?

*Will we be able to view other things in the inbox aside from just messages? I.E. newly uploaded icons & comment replies.

Looking forward to being able to answer & leave comments in app, as that's mostly what I end up doing on LJ. :)

Overall, I adore the update! Keep up the good work and keep those updates coming! :)

Yes, you can turn on pictures loading by default at Settings -> Data -> Load Pictures.
* YouTube will be available within app later;
* Notifications will be available thru Push at v.0.8.0, so reading other stuff at Inbox will not be required :)

Will look into it. You are not able to delete messages from the app because of LiveJournal API do not support it...

This version is brilliant! The old version did not like OS4 at all - Messages went into black holes, post disappeared.... but this is wonderful! Love it!

Possible improvements:
Ability to read comments in the app without launching Safari.
Ability to filter friends

But overall - wonderful!
