so it turns out i need glasses. i was supposed to fly this friday but now i'm DNIF (grounded) until i can get glasses. so i sould be getting them next week. it's wierd... i didnt think i needed glasses but since they say i'm 20/30 i need correction to 20/20 to fly. oh well. it just means i'll be stylin cool shades on the plane.

today i got typoid fever, smallpox, influenza, and yellow fever vaccines. i felt like a pin cusion. i got my desert uniforms also. why? because im deploying. i am excited. i met with the commander today and we talked about some things. he's an awesome commander. i also met with the training NCOIC and we discussed the new training curriculum. 63 ( Read more... )

its so cold outside!!!

i graduated ftac today and next week i start block training. its going to be forever before i get off the ground.

i am the foosball master!!!! woohoo!!!

thats about the most exciting thing to happen all day. winning the foosball tournamet.....

i love this job.

i'm going to be flying the stage in a couple months. today i got my mobility gear issued. desert flight suit, helmet, gun holster, flack vest, goggles, MOPP gear, first aid kit, nvg compat lights, and a whole bunch of other good stuff. now all i need is an ipod :)
