I already told you how much I love this, but I'll reiterate it here. There is something so emotional about this, even if Castiel's inner thoughts can be a bit clinical (in the way of an outside observer experiencing something for the first time). It's that dichotomy that makes this work so well, and is what makes it even more touching. Really beautiful job.

Here on tebtosca's rec. Really great story! Seeing how Cas's mind worked, how his outside perspective unravels the truth about humans (money is fiction) and how he was compassionate to the girl ghost, it was really cool. Great job :)

I really enjoyed this story. There is a certain bleakness to it, that I think captures Castiel’s mind set during his time as a human very well. That and his bewilderment at humanity’s many facets, made for a great Cas POV.
