This is why I have two PAGES, one for cosplay and one for my design label mwhahahahaha that and I really dont want to have to sign into multiple accounts, thats annoying
I had been wondering what the limit on FB friends was. I made the separation from my "regular" FB profile and my cosplay activity a while ago. Eventually I also made a fan page because I still was not comfortable with people whom I had never met me wanting to add me as a "friend" and having full access to my facebook (even if I tried to keep it for cosplay only). The problem with Pages is, that when people post photos, you can't tag a "page" as been in the photo, even if it is a page for a person, you can only tag FB people, that is someone's profile.
Another advantage of Fan Pages is that you don't get a notification email with the request for someone to be your "fan", so people don't have to wait to be accepted to view the content that is available on the Page. There's also the "insights" which breaks down the stats for the page.
Even with all this, I find that people don't interact with a page as much as they interact with a "person".
you can't tag a "page" as been in the photo. You can NOW. They changed that recently.

Of course there is a difference. When people add a "Cosplay Profile" as a friend, they see it as adding a person. When people like a Page, they see the Page as brand, not an actual person.

I think that's a really smart move.
People with FB Pages get more respect.
