Two questions

I have two quick questions.

Question the first: I'm trying to make Robin's mask and I'm wondering if there's anyway to make the "lenses" an opaque white and still be able to see through them. Does anyone know of any plastic or fabric that would work for a mask and give this effect?

Question the second: Can anyone suggest a good pattern for making

lelola, in that case, something like what I used for Froslass' veil, want to see if using that will work? :3

Lenses: Perhaps try some white organza or chiffon?
