His name is Barney.
In a former life, he was a huge cop.
We know because he enjoys donuts [will open cabinets on his own], coffee [will drink straight from my dad's mug] and attacking anything and everything he feels is not right.
My dad calls him : Barney Puffy Fur, kinda like Sean Puffy Combs.
