Why I hate being white...ok not really, but you'll get the point

  I don't hate being white, being a girl, or being anything else.  However it's extremely infuriating that when I go to look for a scholarship because I'm having a hard time with my financial situation I'm immediately excluded because of my skin color.  And while this may sound like something that an African-American (we'll be P.C.) student would ( Read more... )

i agree with it being hard for white people to get finance help in most situations when its rather easy for any minority of any kind to get it, regardless of other factors, lame.

but universal health care isn't a bad idea!

Being an upper middle class Hispanic girl with slightly above average grades isn't any better. My EFC was 19,634. Fuck FAFSA. I haven't seen that and won't see that in a year because school only costs 13,000.

And my grades aren't good enough for me to get merit scholarships, and I'm not poor enough to get Hispanic ones. I hate school, well paying for school anyway.
