flickr has a very easy to use free upload widget. but they limit your uploads to like 100 photos a month or something unless you have a pro account. a pro account costs something like 20 bucks a year though so it's worth it. also people can comment on your photos and stuff so that's always fun. i like flickr.

I really like flickr for the ease of uploading, sorting, and sharing with friends. I have a pro account and it's worth it for the money.

Just make sure you put some sort of Copyright or something on them because being a designer I've come across stories of peoples photos being taken from Flickr and being used in advertisements and things....I believe you can set your Creative Commons on Flickr. I personally dont use Flickr, ive just heard stories of people seeing their photographs being used online or in print without their knowledge or being asked to use them....

you should be careful on any website actually not just Flickr.

I personally enjoy using Flickr, for most of the same reasons everyone else already stated. depending on how many photos you intend to upload, the free version maybe fine for you. I've only once ran out of alloted space (if you have the free account, you can only have 200 photos up at any given time). I clear my older stuff every once in a while, so basically it's just recent stuff. I've never come close to the monthly limit because my photos are basically just web-sized when i upload them.

Do be aware though of theft on Flickr. I have a few photographers that have found their stuff on posters, billboards, ads, etc. with photos they never approved or got credit for. My "protection" against that is simply to upload a 800 x 600 sized picture (makes it pretty difficult to nab and get a decent-looking print from).
