oh my gosh--this just made me water up! Poor, poor Cas--what a heartbreaking depiction of loneliness. It made it easy to understand just why he loves Dean so much, and why he treats Sam like a brother.
What lovely prequels these were--they really added so much to my enjoyment of the series.
