Very well done. I've never had to experience anything like this, but all this feels very real and very true. I've been reading this 'Verse of yours for quite a while now and love every instalment. Thanks for this!

D'awww. That was your usual mix of heart-breaking and adorable.

I would write more, but I have a cold and am all achy and gross and drugged up on paracetamol and am about to go to bed. But I loved it!

I absolutely loved this. You write everyone's voices perfectly. I'm so glad that Sam finally said what he did to Dean; it might hurt, but it's the sort of thing that needs to be put in the open before healing can happen. And your Castiel continues to impress me: a lot of D/C writers make him into this virtuous, perfect figure who can do no wrong, but you've managed to avoid falling into that trap by giving him his own struggles to deal with. I'm terribly inconsistent at commenting, but I always look forward to seeing what comes next in this 'verse.

One small thing, though--the link that you included in your crossposting is actually leading me to A Drop Fell on the Apple Tree. I think that the wrong URL might have been pasted in?

The gesture of Dean tucking Cas' hair behind his ear paired with the comment of that being a behavior reserved for their alone time just killed me. So endearing.
