I like the first one... but then I much prefer reading about InuXKag vs Kikyou.

Very little critique on the first one:

"As a now ordinary human man, he had nor the ability nor the need to wield it any longer."

I'd have said "he had neither the ability nor the need..." the first nor was jarring to me.

Thanks for the critique! I'll change that.

(I prefer reading about InuxKag as well. The Kikyou one was a very... rare venture for me. XD )
