Third, A lot of my arguements are stemmed from feelings of helplessness in watching this org spiral away from what it could/should be. Frankly, I like that games are different, and some idiot has "envoy to the assamites". All council see's is arguements about why it shouldn't have come into being in the first place, and the Coord having the

er.... I mean... preach it from the non loyalist hill...
more to the point... I could not agree with you more. Keep the drama and bickering IC. Every game IS and SHOULD be differant. It's not such a bad thing really. Homogenaity (sp?) is going to kill this damn org faster then SARS would rip through a premee care room. Our strenght as an org is found in our differances and our similarities... not both.

By the same token, each game also needs to consider how they are impacting those around them. Whether you like it or not, whether you intend it or not, plotlines in your game may very well affect mine. That doesn't mean you should have to check with me to see if your stuff is spilling into my sandbox, but being considerate of it couldn't hurt.
The Org is beautiful because of our differences. But part of being in the Org also means recognizing that there are others in it too besides your own game, and they need to be respected as well.
There are a fair number of STs who seem to forget that.

OWBN is a shared social space. It's like a class room. Some games follow the rules, some games are popular. Some games are the bad boys. Now games can be the weird kid that sits in the corner drawing dragons if they want to, or the mean girl that only plays with her two mean friends, or the class clown, or the kid who'll eat worms for two bucks... and people will do their best to ignore them.
Games need to not be the guy who squats on the teachers desk and shits their pants. Because they may think they are only shitting their own pants, but everybody in the class room can smell that nasty shit.
Yay Metaphors.
