It turns out this month was a really good time to rediscover Dolby's brilliant album Golden Age of Wireless... ******************** ( from Cloudburst at Shingle Street )
Yeah! I've pretty much stopped listening to my cassettes, so I'd fallen out of touch with it. Now it's creeping me out how exactly those lyrics apply to my current state of mind.
Unfortunately I haven't much liked any of his later albums--a couple good songs on Astronauts and Heretics, but that's about it, too much discordant jazz influence... but that one album is a gift all by itself.
For some reason the only song that got much airplay was "She Blinded me with Science", but the other stuff is even better. "Europa" was a song I heard once and tried to track down for years (pre-google, of course).
