I've just come back from my final chorale tour. Needless to say, it's brought a lot of things to my mind. The utter finality of it brings to the forefront the line I'm about to cross, which is that between my life as I've known it and the unknown. So many things that I've taken for granted I'm realizing are going to be gone; some might be salvaged

I can't say it gets better, because it really doesn't. It just grows more distant as you get used to a different life. Continue to find joy in singing alone and grasp every opportunity you have otherwise and you'll be okay.
