So I recently discovered fanfic. Well, I mean, I've known for like, half my life that at it existed, but have started getting into it just a few days ago.

And I have so many ideas. Sadly, AFAIK I am crap at writing fiction, so I can't flesh them out ( Read more... )

I'm reading this recent burst of posts in reverse order. I want to chat fanfic with you sometime--birthday make-up?--and my friend Elana is writing a Mass Effect magnum opus. It's required some HUGE anxiety-checking. But it's great to read. Mass Effect is at the same time a big space opera and a game with more than a dozen canonical pairings, with a likewise canonical female protagonist.

I'd love that. As long as you realize that chatting fanfic with me might get into TMI land very quickly. Just sayin' ... don't know your comfort level about that. I generally have no shame. :)

Don't really have familiarity with Mass Effect, so can't comment there.

Oh; also, being out of town tomorrow thru 22nd. FYI.
