What I love about your Loki muse is the symbolism of his being a god, which makes him a symbol and a representation and, like all deities, ultimately an inhabitant of your psyche and an aspect of your connection to the world.
So, I mean, your Loki? HeadLoki? Actually really Loki.
(I'm sure it would be more convenient to have HiddlesLoki actually around, but even so. Your HeadLoki actually being Loki is just a thing that sort of makes me happy.)
Actually I think of my Loki as being somewhat of a synthesis of the Norse god and the Marvel character.
But I also think Hiddles was getting some direct inspiration while playing the part. Call it channelling, possession, being ridden, whatever. So, in my mind, with that theory, the distinction between MythLoki and MarvelLoki becomes blurred.
At this point, having HiddlesLoki actually around would be nice, but I'll take an incarnate visit from him in whatever form, really.
And as much as you say it's symbolism and an inhabitant of my psyche, essentially going back to Jungian archetypes, is that I actually do believe he's out there for real in some way, not just an aspect of the psyche.
And I was an atheist six months ago. Apparently my atheism and skepticism has been... Loki'd. :)
