I don't even know how many times I've read this series. I first read Magic's Pawn and its sequels back in the 6th grade, and man did they ever send my love for fantasy books into overdrive. I've read Magic's Pawn so many times I'm on my second copy and I know it front to back. Think of this book as a fic with canon slash that also has: h/c, soul-

:O Thanks for the rec, bb! I looked it up on Amazon and it seems awesome. Not to mention, I really need new books, lol. And yay, canon slash! I think I read another ML book that had that, but I can't recall the title, though it was an interesting read. There were tiny fairies and models that were abused as children, from what I remember. Hm. :/

You're welcome! I have tons of books, most fantasy sci-fi, can totally hit me up any time you want some recs. XD (Another reaaaally good one is the Inda series by Sherwood Smith, it's got unrequited canon slash and made me think that she is the *best writer ever.* Or Rob Thurman who writes stuff very similar to SPN even though hers pre-dates SPN...The list goes on. ^^;)

I don't think I've ever read that one. :O That sounds like one of her fairy tale books, though, and back when I could afford them I didn't know about Amazon and so couldn't find them, and now that I know about Amazon I can't afford them. XD I only got the chance to read The Black Swan and Firebird. A lot of her books have canon slash, though, she's just awesome like that. :)
