A couple of writers I recognize (because of course I've read about 90% of all the Suits fics out there) signed up today, too. I'm pretty much bouncing with excitement, waiting for the discussions to start and it to get more active, but I guess that won't happen till sign ups end, at least. About the banners - I'd been hoping they'd come with a nifty table, HTML code and all, but since they don't, I think this should word: right-click on them, copy image location and insert the link provided in LJ's image insertion thingy (you know, the one that lets you put pictures into your entries). That should do the trick, since it's pretty much what I did for the SBB pimp in my journal.

How's your writing going? Also, I don't really know much about Conan, but the trailers for that film look pretty epic. :D

Thanks! I'll have to try that. ^^ I've never really used LJ before, always preferred to be a lurker before Suits, so this is all news to me. XD

I contacted a beta today and will probably be working with her, which is totally exciting. So far about 5500 words written out, the story is completely planned already with the exception of some of the minor scenes that keep the story smooth. Can we say things like that, so long as we don't give away plot? o.o Last night I had a LOT of time to kill with nothing but a notebook, pencil, and dead phone.

It will be epic! I never really got too into the books because of the covers (big He-man type guy with a simpering woman laying at his feet, yurgh) but Robert Jordan was an amazing writer. If the movie's as good as it looks I'll have to give in to that old cliche, books and covers, y'know. Momoa's a great actor, too, so that's not a worry.

That's amazing, so far! It's awesome that you found a beta, too! Mine has a different timezone, which can complicate things, but it's nice discussing details with her. I definitely think it's okay to share technical points like that, since they're not really pertinent to the plot, and the SBB mod said she'll try to organize an entry where we can anonymously share snippets. THAT will be fun! Although, my fic is written from scratch, so I don't even have 1k yet and have to start cracking down soon. :P

I think that might be why Conan didn't interest me before; I'm not really a fan of He-Man. But I think I'll still check out the movie. =)

Yes! I'm getting excited just thinking about talking about it. I am going to lose a lot of sleep due to pure anticipation during this whole thing, haha.
