Roaches
B/f just googled about roaches and found this entry. I'm from Houston and know this pain; in fact, when I was 7 years old I climbed a tile wall sopping wet and soapy and clung to a shower head to escape a giant flying roach. That blog is just too perfect, sincerely worth reading and good for a laugh. XD

Singapore sounds so exciting, though. It can be both a terrifying and wonderful experience to immerse yourself so fully in another culture, if you decide to do it. Good luck, bb. It sounds like a tough choice.

It does! Usually I'm very set against one of us getting a job that would require prolonged separation like that, but it just sounds like something incredible and fascinating. If it works out, he'll leave for Singapore in September and live a year over there by himself, then if they decide to keep him on I'd move out to Singapore to live with him as his spouse. Problem: requires we get married before he moves out there, I'm fairly sure. Living in Singapore, though!
