Silenced...

I am absolutely starved for intellectual conversation. I feel like all i've been surrounded by lately is small chit-chat and reoccuring dramatic situations. I feel like I haven't had a real, substantial connection with someone in ages. Even, amongst my home life it's: "How was you're day?", "What are you hungry for?" and "I'm busy". I don't mean ( Read more... )

I'm in full support of teaching the intelligent design theory. the only text you can really use is Behe's book where he takes a biochemical approach to expose holes in darwin's theory, such as irreducible complexity. His ideas are not based in "christian dogma" or anything, he is more open to the idea that Darwin may not be the answer, but he does make a case for a "designer" but never mentions a christian God may be that.

It goes back into the good ol' church and state seperation and the secular nation we live in. Even if I was an atheist I would still want ti be taught the idea of ID because it gives a balance and I would want to learn as much as I can. I'm open to the idea of creationism being taught as well. It is an idea, you are teaching an idea; not saying it is correct or not.

sorry, to interupt but you got on a topic I'm very into

You can always join me in my new battle against Illegal immigration. The Mexican government is now handing out maps of the best places to cross the border and travel packs, as well as using drug routes to cross people into the states, while in their country they deport or imprison illegal aliens. In the states its now a felony, however our prisons are full enough to let in people who dont need free food and shit like that.

It makes me angry when I go to arizona and see like literally 20-30 illegal aliens standing in parking lots just waiting for someone to give them a cash job so they can eat that day, then expect rights and freedom and no taxes.

On the other hand, our economy demands these people, as they are willing to work dirt cheap and dont require health care and such (yet). So, what to do, what to do... Although we could be like those ranchers and start shooting at them.... :)
