I've really gotta get back to training, so I'm looking to spar with a couple people. Anyone interested? I promise I'll go easy on you.

[[ooc: And I happen to really like writing out fight threads, but I know not all people do, so let me know which one you prefer if your character's interested.]]

[He nods... Then holds his position with his sword at his side. Whenever you're ready, Sheena.]

[two cards in each hand, and she takes her usual fighting stance, opposite him and several feet away.

You first.]

[She's good and ready, and even with her stance alone, Kratos can tell that she's improved. He turns his sword in his hand just a bit, and then he's off. He rushes towards her, making sure his feet are firmly planted once he gets close enough before he swings his sword at her. He uses the flat side of it, of course, for this is merely a spar and she doesn't have armor or a weapon to deflect it if he uses the deadlier side.]

[she's gone all day blocking blades with her cards, she can keep on doing it. In a trick she implemented with Ami, she sidesteps the swing and hooks her cards around the blade, giving them a Tethe Seal - Lightning that hopefully will carry a charge up through the metal sword]

[He's been around for many years, and he knows how to use lightning attacks. Better yet, he has a friend who specializes in such magic. As such, he's taken precautions against such things, and a pretty simple one. The handle of his sword has leather, a non-conductive material, wrapped around it. So, the most he feels is sharp static shock that makes his arm tingle, but he pays it no heed. Instead, he steps with her and continues the swing, aiming a hard hit towards her shoulder.]

[She sort of figured it wouldn't work - in fact, she's going to try a lot of things here under the assumption that they won't work - and she falls back as the sword connects with her shoulder. Kratos has pages and pages of strengths and only one weakness she can think of (tomatoes) but can't exploit, so she's going to leap and flip over his head instead, to land behind him and try to get in a hit that way]

[There's also Lloyd, but even if he was here, Sheena probably wouldn't hold him hostage in order to win. As she flies over him, Kratos turns, and he meets her landing by ducking down, then rushing forward with his shield towards her stomach.]

[Probably couldn't, is more like it. Sheena just keeps jumping back out of the way, until she changes and jumps up and forward, trying to deliver a spinning kick to the back of Kratos' head as she goes by]

[Now, Kratos isn't the fastest person around, considering his form, but he does see that coming. He ducks and jumps to the side to get out of the way, though her foot does cuff the side of his head. It hurts, but not nearly enough to throw him off, and he moves again to perform three slashes of his sword against her, not using the flat of his blade this time.]

[Ooh, the business end. She dodges the first two slashes and uses her cards to knock the third wide, moving in beside it to Pyre Seal him]

[Although Kratos raises his shield to deflect some of the affects of the Pyre Seal, he's still knocked back because of it. Thankfully for him, he isn't forced to the ground, and he recovers quickly, this time giving two slashes before:]

Super Sonic Thrust!

[Stabby sword is one-directional when he does that. She dodges pretty easily, springing up into the air again and focusing down on him.]

Cyclone Seal! [wind power go]

[It takes Kratos a bit to recover from that attack, but while he's raised into the air thanks to her move, he focuses on his sword once more, preparing a magic attack of his own. Once he lands, he holds out his hand towards her.]

Stone Blast!

[Oh, great, rocks and a caster who cheats by not exposing a glyph. Sheena diverts some of the attack but several stones strike her, leaving her dazed and down in a crouch for the time being. She's watching you, Kratos]

[He'll take advantage of this opportunity. He'd be dumb not to. So, he swiftly moves forward and uses his momentum to bring himself into his next move:]
