I really, really want to read that book, now that I've read your lovely review of it. If I actually get my backside in gear, and *do* go get it (and read it), then I will happily book-club-style read and chat with you about it :)
And also, we *both* need to see Groundhog Day, if only for the Bill Murray. We could do a Groundhog Day watch Party, and have LJ open, and comment along as we watch it ;) (I did that once, re-watching Thor with a gaggle of Loki fangirls, and it was hilarious)
Did you ever see the Xena episode Déja Vu All Over Again? I get a different laugh each time I watch it (and often the same laugh).
I'm just watching a lovely movie called "About Time" which is a timey wimey, time travelling, day repeating story, and it's really fun, playing with the tropes of one person living the same night in several different ways. I thought I'd mention it, given that you like that type of storyline. And there's Domhnall Gleeson ;)
