as one was my childhood. back before i even got into kpop at all, i was a little ten year old who couldn't stop listening to the tattered secondhand copy of day by day i'd gotten from my cousin. i had no idea what they were singing, or who they were, or why i liked the slow, soothing melodies; i just knew that i was listening to gorgeous

i found As One a while ago, but it wasn't until Donghae posted a picture with them (and made me love them more) on twitter and i started following them on twitter. well i just got home and saw they retweeted your tweet. that is how i ended up here. so hi.

I never knew it was As One that sang on Freestyle's Y track!! Wow! No wonder I was so in love with the girls' voice!! Hahahha

I love their music since it's so relaxing <3 They were one of my firsts kpop artists I listened to when I was younger. (Those days where I just listened to the listen and didn't get into fandoms)

My favorite song from them is Fairytale. <3

tbh, i totally didn't realize it was them until i was looking up their discography on cyworld for this post. it was like a giant DUUURRR moment for me haha xD

that part about listening to them without getting into fandom? that was what i was trying to say at the beginning hahaha. fairytale is a gorgeous song-- definitely one of their most easy to listen to songs.

Hahah I used to have fairytale on my desktop before it died on me. Recently I spent like four hours hunting for it again on korean music sites! It was ridiculous because I wasn't too sure if the track title was originally in korean or english. Oh man, you do NOT know how happy I was when I found it again. XD I wish people into kpop these days would be more into it for the music instead looks.

I remembered when they came back with Sonnet over the summer. I saw comments on akp and yt with people saying they're ugly, okay vocals, not that great, etc. It really made me angry because HELLO?! THESE GIRLS ARE VETERANS TO YOUR PRECIOUS IDOLS! So disrespectful! D<

You also do not know how happy I was when I found their twitters. XD (Made me just as happy as BEAST (my main fandom) getting twitters. Hahahaha!) They're so precious and adorable!!! (Coincidentally, I came across your post because the girls retweeted your tweet ^^) You are so luckyy!!

i stopped reading akp and yt comments at least a year ago rofl. save myself some brain cells |D being a wonder girls stan has totally helped me grow some super thick skin anyway, so if people say negative things about my favourite artists i've learned to just shrug it off. haha.

i actually only discovered their twitter a few days ago DDD: i don't know where i've been, but obviously it was somewhere under a rock DDD: they tweeted back to my first flaily excited tweet and that's actually what spurred me to put this post together xD

Their songs are absolutely awesome! Even though I only listened to like a fourth of this post. (Wow, you put in a lot of effort into this.) I've never been into korean music (little too flashy for me) but I'm totally downloading You're Welcome. The video's beautiful.
