That is SO cute! I can't believe how gentle that enormous creature [it's not a dog, it's a small horse] is with that baby and how comfortable and happy the baby is being smooshed by the creature! The parents must trust that dog entirely. These pictures made my day! Thanks so much for posting them!

I showed these photos to my husband and kids last night, all of whom were made totally smooshy by them. I'd love to send them out in an e-mail to some dog-loving friends I have, and I'm wondering if you could e-mail the original e-mail to me. The baby sure is enjoying it, but...

I'm as big a dog lover as anybody, and maybe it's because I understand their nature so well that I would never let one, especially one that large, get in that position over a baby. Instinct can kick in at any time and it isn't always pretty.
