Of course, there's a whole load we don't agree on. The extent of my dislike for Cassie, for example, can't be measured by human instruments. It's not that I think that she's a bad character. She's well written and Hannah Marshall plays her brilliantly. I just find her poisonous and not particularly interesting, is all. For deeply unlikable characters in Gen 1, my favourite would be Tony, and I find his journey much more interesting. (Also, my love of fictional incest is no secret, and the incestuous vibe I get from Tony and Effy is just ridiculousMy favourite generation remains gen 2, although I think they were extremely badly served, and seasons 1 and 2 were better, I'd say, and had a much more satisfying overall story arc. Also, season 2 didn't suck beyond all measure, which season 4 did, so. But gen 2 had Emily and Naomi, and Katie and Effy, and Pandora was a lot of fun, and Jack O'Connell does a

I agree with most of that. While gen 1 is still my favourite gen 2 were very worthy successors and I agree were less well served by the storyline. Mainly as in seasons 3 & 4 all their parents were oddly absent. Not only did I miss the brilliant cameos but it turned into 'do what you want' which lost something.
Obviously I can't agree with you over Cassie though. Poisonous? You'll seriouly have to give examples here or I'll think we've watched different series. If anything she's the most caring of all of gen 1, although even she would acknowledge being a bit of an attention seeker. She does go bad in season 2, but thats because she's hurt. Not saying thats excusable but thats what people do. I'm also surprised as Cassie and Effie really are 2 sides of the same coin and I know Effie is your favourite. Both are the most perceptive and the most intelligent of their group, and that understanding is what most hurts and confuses them, and forces them into extremly bad choices.
